Robert Borlenghi was born in Italy, he lived as a child in Argentina and moved at 19 to the United States. He has degrees in civil and architectural engineering from the universities of Padua and of Southern California. He transitioned from a collector of important contemporary U.S. artists to form a major collection of Haitian, Jamaican, Cuban, Argentinian, and Mexican art, forming the backbone of the gallery’s secondary market collection.
