An important piece by Abela; illustrated in 3 books, magazines, and catalogues. - Piece was originally part of an exhibit in La Galeria Habana in 1963, it was purchased there by the J.F.Castro along with another piece "El Niño con Melon"; family also had "El Niño Insomne" which was given to the family by Abela because they had purchased the two other works. - "El Niño Insomne" was sold to JC Erro Artsy Auction 100 El niño dormido.
