Claudia Brito-Sousa

Claudia Brito Sousa (b. 1952, Buenos Aires)

Claudia was very young when she became involved in the arts. Sh studies piano, dance and painting. She graduated with a degree in piano from the Alberto Williams conservatory at the age of 18, but it was fine art that really attracted her, as such six years later she entered into the National School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredón. Her first professor was Ary Brizzi, who first taught her to work with colors, and awoke in her a passion for them. Claudia tells os that painting in series allows her to best express a theme within a specific time and space, thus making her works timeless and symbolic.
